Celebrating Día De Los Muertos with Taste

SOCIAL CAMPAIGN • SOCIAL STRATEGY • PRODUCTION

Día De Los Meurtos is one of the biggest national holidays in Mexico. And as a heritage-driven tequila brand — 1800 Tequila needed to find a way to rise above the noise.

We partnered with 2 esteemed nail artists, Juan Alvear and Zaira Vega, to create designs that paid homage to Mexican traditions, while also celebrating artistic innovations.

I led a team of creatives from concepting to post-production, and also worked with the internal strategy team to build a rollout plan that leveraged our assets in a timely manner. The result was a cohesive social campaign that championed 1800’s love for the arts and resonated with a younger demographic online.

During the month of October, our campaign garnered 18.5M+ impressions on paid social. Some might say that we “nailed” it (sorry, not sorry).

RESULTS

The campaign saw over 18.5M impressions on paid social in the month of October.
